主講師/Main Instructors

池田裕師範（合気道七段）
​Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan (Aikikai 7th Dan)

 

池田師範はアメリカコロラド州ボルダーのボルダー合気会の創設者でチーフインストラクターも務めておられます。池田師範は1968年に五月女師範が指導する 國學院大學合気道部で合気道を始め、卒業後も本部道場と五月女先生の黎明塾で修業を積まれています。1978年先に渡米されていた五月女先生に続き、アメリカに渡り、1980年にボルダー合気会を設立されました。池田先生はアメリカをはじめ世界各国でしばしば講師として招待され指導に当たっています。

 

Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan is founder and chief instructor of Boulder Aikikai. He began his study of aikido in 1968 at the aikido club of Kokugakuin University in Tokyo, of which Saotome Sensei was the chief instructor. Upon graduation, he trained regularly at Honbu Dojo and at Saotome Sensei's Remeijuki Dojo. In 1978 he followed Saotome Sensei to the U.S., and in 1980 established Boulder Aikikai. He is a frequent guest instructor at aikido seminars in the U.S. and abroad.

木下良一師範（合気道七段）
Ryoichi Kinoshita Shihan (Aikikai 7th Dan)

 

木下師範は1974年に阿部醒石師範の下で合気道を始め、内弟子として修業してきました。1996年からは大阪吹田市にて吹泉館の代表と師範を務めており、 関西圏を中心に活躍されています。一方で翁先生の親しい弟子であり、書道の先生であった阿部醒石先生から合気道と同様に書道も学ばれています。

 

Ryoichi Kinoshita Shihan began Aikido training under Abe Seiseki Shihan in 1974. At age 24, he became a live-in student of Abe Shihan. From 1996 to present day, he has been director and head instructor of Suisenkan Aikido Dojo in Suita, Japan. He instructs full-time in Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara. As a longtime student of Abe Sensei, calligraphy teacher of Osensei, Kinoshita Sensei studied calligraphy as well as Aikido with Abe Sensei.

ジッム・アルヴァレズ先生（合気道六段）
Jim Alvarez Sensei(Aikikai 6th Dan)

ジム・アルヴァレズ先生（合気会６段）はアメリカカリフォルニア州リバモアで神鈴道場を開かれ代表師範を務めら れています。アレヴァレズ先生は1973年から中国のカンフーを学ばれ、1978年から合気道を始められています。五月女貢師範と池田裕師範に出会うまで、 多くの合気道師範の下で師事されていますが、1990年からは専ら五月女貢師範と池田裕師範からの指導を受けています。一方で1992年からは小幡利城先生の もとで日本の伝統的な刀法について学び、北カリフォルニアでの小幡先生の高弟でもあります。

 

Jim Alvarez Sensei (Aikikai 6th Dan) is the founder and chief instructor of Aikido of Livermore - Shinrei Dojo. He began his martial arts training in 1973 in Chinese Kung Fu and in 1978 began his study of Aikido. He studied under numerous Aikido Shihan until he met Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan and Mitsugi Saotome Shihan. He has trained exclusively with both Ikeda Shihan and Saotome Shihan since 1990. He is one of Saotome Shihan’s senior students in the USA. In 1992 he began his study of traditional Japanese sword under Toshishiro Obata sensei and is his most senior student in Northern California.

Akira Kato Sensei (5th Dan)

リサ・トモレノーニ先生は植芝守央合気道道主から直接頂いた六段位を有しています。先生は１３年以上にわたり東京の（公財）合気会合気道本部道場にて修行を積まれ、同道場にて指導も行ってこられています。先生は（公財）合気会及び合気道本部道場の公認組織である合気道親睦会理事も務めておられます。先生はまた柔道、居合道の有段者であり、研修館道場の門下でもあります。さらに稽古方法に関する著作集『Along the Way』の共著者でもあります。

 

Lisa Tomoleoni Sensei holds the rank of Roku Dan (6th dan), received directly from Moriteru Ueshiba, Aikido Doshu. She spent over 13 years in Japan training at the Aikido World Headquarters and teaching Aikido professionally at a dojo in Tokyo.  Tomoleoni Sensei is Director of the Aikido Shimbokukai, an organization Officially Recognized by the Aikikai Foundation and Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. She also has yudansha ranking in Judo and Iaido and is a member of the Kenshukan Dojo in Tokyo. Tomoleoni Sensei is a coauthor of the book "Along the Way", a collection of writings about training.

1974年高校入学を期に木下良一と共に合気道を始め、同時に阿部醒石先生に師事し、木下良一と共に現在も合気道の修行を続けています。

合気道の理解を深めるため、太極拳を始め、中国拳法、ジークンドーなど武道の極意を極める一方、師事した師範は全て超一流の先生であったと言われています。

阿部醒石師範に師事していた期間は木下良一七段と全く同じであり実力は、木下良一七段と同等だと思われます。

本人は段位よりも実力を考え、稽古にいそしんでいました。

1980年より合気道教室を開催し、多くの門弟を輩出します。

現在、独身であり、常に合気道を極意を得るために努力を続けている武道家です。

 

Akira Kato Sensei (Aikikai 5th Dan) began an Aikido with Kinoshita Sensei as a high school student in 1974. At that time he also became a student of Abe Seiseki Sensei. Following high school graduation, he continued his Aikido training with Kinoshita Sensei at Abe Sensei’s dojo. To deepen his understanding of Aikido, he also began studying the secrets of Tai Chi, Chinese Kung Fu, Jeet Kun Do and other martial arts. All of his teachers were masters of these arts. In The period that he studied with Abe Sensei was the same as for Kinoshita Sensei and their abilities are considered to be similar. Kato Sensei began teaching Aikido in 1980 and has generated many students. He currently is single and devotes much of his time as a martial artist to striving to attain the essential teachings of Aikido.
